Today, Annie Blackman releases the official music video for "Glitch" (directed by Meghan Nash), the breakout hit from her debut album All of It, out now.
The New York-based singer-songwriter also recently kicked off The Dessert First Tour, presented by Father/Daughter and Keeled Scales, alongside label mate S. Raekwon and the Austin-based indie folk artist Alex Dupree (Keeled Scales).
Annie Blackman shares the following about the video:
"We made the “Glitch” music video using all analog equipment. This included an Edirol V-4 video synthesizer, a VCR player and VHS tapes, a CRT TV, a 1998 camcorder with mini DV tapes, and a bevy of obsolete cords and wires. With all of this, Meghan combined two video feeds into the synth to create all of the effects, and filmed the CRT TV as she mixed the footage in real time. It was a real feat getting all of the tech to work together correctly and we’re really happy with how it turned out."
