TV Star's debut album out April 24th

TV Star's debut album out April 24th

Today, TV Star announce their debut album, Music For Heads, out April 24th. Pre-order the LP, CD, and "Out Of My Bag" tote. The Seattle/Tacoma, WA based band also shares the music video for the new single, "Out Of My Bag," directed by guitarist Che Hise-Gattone and Sun Spots' Kailey Morales.

"This song and video are our homage to 80’s Madchester and Britpop, styles that heavily inform the overall sound of the record in less obvious ways, and gave us a chance to celebrate some of our good friends who are featured on the record," says TV Star.

“Out of My Bag” captures TV Star at their loosest and most electric. Written live in rehearsal, the track slides effortlessly from cow-punk twang into shimmering psychedelia, bottling the rush of a band locking in together in real time. Beneath its sunlit swagger, the song takes aim at a familiar frustration – having your love dismissed as “too much.” Rather than shrinking back, TV Star lets the feeling sprawl with warm guitars, elastic rhythms, and an unforced melodic ease turning vulnerability into propulsion. It’s a bright, freewheeling moment that shows how the band transforms emotional excess into communal joy, trusting instinct over polish and coming out stronger for it.
