“Milky Milk” is the new single from Dama Scout, the eclectic trio from London fronted by Eva Liu (vocals, guitar), joined by childhood friends Luciano Rossi (bass, keys) and Danny Grant (drums). Established in Glasgow, the band draw their name, in part, from the protagonist of Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird prefixed by ‘Dama’, meaning woman or deer.
“Milky Milk” takes cues from the band’s influences of Can and Francois Hardy, creating an elastic performance, building tension through the push and pull of dynamics and tempo - culminating in the relief of the euphoric end section.
