Dama Scout are an eclectic trio from London fronted by Eva Liu (vocals, guitar), who is joined by childhood friends Luciano Rossi (bass, keys) and Danny Grant (drums). Established in Glasgow, the band draw their name, in part, from the protagonist of Harper Lee’s To Kill A Mockingbird - whom Liu has long identified with - prefixed by ‘Dama’, meaning woman or deer. The band explored themes from fear of expectation to lucid dreaming and the comfort of togetherness - topics which shine through brightest in their self-produced music videos which are full of surreal undertones, strange and daring narratives, and colorful aesthetics.
